Based on what I read on the Hide, I would say the membership is fairly well informed. I surf different channels, subscribe to several Substack writers and listen to several podcasts-Darkhorse is excellent for 'rona news, Bari Weiss' Honestly and a few of the folks I follow on twatter provide really good information that doesn't require me looking up shit to make sure it's real. My issue is I'm lazy and all these pod casts take time to watch and don't provide really current information.
What does the Hide recommend?

I get all my news from the hide.
We have trolls that bring us all the left talking points.
Lots of debates amongst very knowledgeable and idiotic alike from many different walks of life I am able to find at least 1 common denominator with.

Don’t need to watch the news anymore to know what time it is.

Just trying to see if I can carpool if anyone is realizing they are traveling down the same road. (If I’m still alone I may be walking slow, hoping for some company)

Illk at Yahoo but give it about 0% credibility. Most of the rest I glean here.

Just cant stand television anymore.

back before the interwebs, my dad said he registered as a democrat so they would send him information on all the bullshit they planned to do.

Too many sources to even try and list

I think it is less important where you get your news than it is how you research the news you get

All news today is skewed one way or another by politics

No one reports just the facts anymore
Even if they say they are only reporting the facts, the facts have bias depending upon where they came from.

see something, research it more, decide if BS or not, try to find raw data

When reading RCP, you can literally predict what the column will say by the source. And they all parrot each other...

I look on the inside of tea as I drink tea , it leaves as watching tv makes me feel sick anymore it's just dirty trash and lies . They want to push this narrative or that narrative just put the story out there and let the people come up with there own narrative the last thing I was to hear is someone telling me how and what to feel about anything I can draw my own conclusions . Besides hasn't all the news networks turned off being able to comment on anything anymore I miss telling cnbc just how much there anchors suck it was fun or getting down on msnbc like anyone there cared that they got the story completly wrong and a 4 year old could present a better story in a more educated way . but life is much nicer with no news I mean the lack of somone lying directly in your face day and night . Now it's all find ammo or powder load more or press more which is much nicer .

If you really want the news:
Believe half of what you see
None of what you hear
ANd you might get close to the truth.

Laughing is better for you than frowning. Especially considering exactly how far behind enemy lines you are. Do you still bother listening to the media? Well your welcome.. even though I believe you thought you were insulting me.
No insult to you at all…you were just the first quotable “from the hide”…which has got to be the dumbest thing on here today….including the 9/11 tin hatters.

Getting “news” from the bear pit is like getting “news” from Twitter. Only differing in that it matches your world view more accurately/is the message you want to hear.

If this has something to do with my screen name, relax Fudd. Screen names don’t mean shit to anyone born after 1975. You won’t catch me assuming you are “blu” or a “troop” of any kind.

Except for election returns, which is difficult to watch, I haven't watched network, or local, news in years. Not even Tucker Carlson on Fox.

Am I the only one that gets new from PornHub?

What really makes me crazy is growing up I would read the comics while my dad would go through the paper.
Now the papers are the comics, NYT’s, LAT’s are almost propaganda for the left.
We’re having a recall here in Kali and one of the candidates is a radio host who happens to be black.
Fucking LAT’s has a story that dude is a white supremacist.
I wish I could make that shit up, but it’s true.

Almost propaganda? Come on man. Read my reply above. It’s all propaganda!

serious answer

most of the news aggregate sites that were not 99% links to the liberal leaning stories have been de-platformed.
https://www.revolver.news/ is still alive, and they are not just an aggregate but produce their own stories as well.

patriots.win is public submission site, so you will see real news and bullshit, as though there is a difference, lol.
beware there is a negative element (racism) and although it is somewhat moderated, it isn't kid safe for sure.
beware it is on the fbi list of sites to monitor, you know, for our safety.

oh and one america news is pretty honest as far as i can see.
they also have the cutest news readers, which is key. hahaha.
i trust al jazeera more than nyt or wapo.
washington examiner is not the worst. or ny post.

They never did.

"If you don't read the newspaper, you are uninformed. If you do read the newspaper, you are misinformed"

Not trying to criticise you, just pointing out that the news has always been biased or outright propaganda even in our early American history. There never was an honest time for journalism.

Reminds me of the advert spot for the “news” on KLBJ FM when I was in college. “We mis-interpret the news so you don’t have to…”
And, yeah, propaganda is as old as the written word.
