So I called up our friends at the ATF today and my paperwork for form 1 was processed 2 days ago! How long do you think it will be for my tax stamp to arrive at my dealers shop?

I had 5 approved on 28 July didn’t show up until 20 September

Not sure about F1s, but for F4s, if you haven't received your stamp a month after approval, you can request that a certified copy be sent.

my last form 1 only took 12 days and the approval was in an email. Form 4’s, well, I’m still waiting for that.

Mine have almost always been about a month from approval to dealers hands.

Based on my form 4’s over past year,
wait times are up from 130ish to 250ish days (obviously huge SD in there)
my time from form 4 approval to received by dealer has ranged from 10 days to almost 2 months for one suppressor

currently I have a form 4 cashed 1/19/21 and approved 9/16/21. Stamp is not yet received as of 9/29. Will post once I receive. I also have 2 form 4’s with checks cashed in March.

it will be interesting to see whether wait times drop back down this winter. I suspect they will given what appears to be significant slow down in suppressor sales in past 6 months. SS is currently running free stamps on gunwerks suppressors, $100 rebates on rugged and DA suppressors and stock appears much higher than a year ago. For example YHM and surefire cans are in stock whereas they were unobtainium in fall 2020.

I hope to be getting close. My Sandman S was purchased in the beginning of February. It’s absurd that this takes this long. I’ve had two Form 1 suppressors and one form 1 SBR approved in the meantime. I have a third suppressor and two more SBR’s submitted and they are at 14 days right now. Last couple were approved in 11 days from receipt of fingerprints. The form 4 wait is ridiculous. My dealer keeps telling me “don’t even look for it until the end of the year…”

I'm sure the uncovered AFT salary/bonus scandal is only going to be used as an excuse that wait times will rise to > 1 year.... I'm pending March 11th, right at 7 months. I bet I won't get my stamp until February at the earliest.

Approved is the confirmation that you will get a stamp... Once approved, they would theoretically mail the stamp. Well, unfortunately, they have no logical mailing timing and sometimes mail the stamp a month later, sometimes a week later. Sometimes, the stamp never arrives. The only way to know you are approved, is to 1) call the ATF, tell them your stamp serial and shop holding it, or 2) wait for the stamp to arrive. People like to call bc they can find out it's approved before the stamp arrives, which again, can take a month or more.

I’m 3/11 on my sandmanS and just purchased a Wolverine for the AK’s. I gave up waiting and have been building form1 cans all summer to keep me busy. Maybe the sandman will be approved next month.

Same here, mine was cashed on 3/5/21 for a Dominus CB, 3 responsible parties on a trust. Rifle season starts 12/1 here, so there is still hope to having a suppressor for all 3 of us by then.

7-21-21 2 SBR's E File'd, 30 day turn around.
Mid August 2021 I contacted my Congressman regarding SF RYDER Application (didn't even think about identity theft being an issue)
***Another tried to purchase firearms in other states a couple times.
***Examiner reported my application was likely never getting approved. Don't recall the exact terminology.
Early Oct examiner emailed and was happy to report they were able to approve my application.
Mid Oct 2021 Suppressor arrived at dealer.
10-25-21 UPIN Letter arrived.

This was my first can. It's an individual on a form 4. My form 1 I did in August took exactly 2 weeks....

Purchased 10/20/20, Accepted 1/29/21 (dragged feet and messed up on the form), 9 months was 10/29/21, Sandman S still in jail… Did this through Suppressor Central, not sure yet if that’s a good or bad thing…
