Looking for a good tripod that will work on a pair of binoculars/spotting scope. I’m not ignorant, but this is new territory to me and I have no clue what will and won’t work on a spotting scope/binoculars, and I’ve been busy enough I haven’t really had time to educate myself on what I need/want. If you have something that will fit a zeiss spotting scope and a pair of Steiner Binoculars please let me know.

If you have a bino you might need a mount to attach to the tripod, some people swear by the outdoorsmna's bino adapter I've linked. I personally use the RRS bino cinch because I've had similar adapters that attach at the middle of the bino and it's snapped off right at the attachment point when my tripod fell over. YMMV

If you have a spotting scope, those usually have some mounting system included to be able to attach to a tripod. If you want a budget starter tripod I've started with and seen others use Hog Saddle's PIG tripod.

i've got 2 of the PIG0311-G tripods now, use one for spotting and have a hog saddle on the other for shooting. Very stout and weigh no more and often less than the highly touted ones you see on here costing 3-4 times as much.

I have a slightly used Manfrotto 550 tripod sitting here if you're interested

I have a Swarovski carbon tripod and bino adapter that I would let go pretty cheap. Comes with ballhead, manuals, etc.
