I have a couple 2wt rods; one is an Orvis 6' Superfine (carbon) full flex with Hardy (of England) reel; the other is a 7' 3" TFO Finesse with a BVK-0. Sage are nice. I've been wanting a Winston 2wt; apparently the one I had my eye on several years ago isn't made any longer...neither are the Orvis or TFO. It's a shame when the good stuff disappears.
The Sage TXL series runs 00 thru 4 Wt. They focused on what makes light rods work well and they hit it out of the park! Mine is a 6'6" custom spun up by a good friend. I think the current series that replaced the TXL is the Dart series and they look to be about the same animal.

I've got a slew of heaver rods from St Croix, Orvis, Reddington etc. but my go to 8 wt. is a Cabelas branded Ltech. It's just a damn nice fishing rod and for the price I don't think it can be beat. I think the differences show more in the lighter weight rods.. those are the ones I start looking at Sage, Winston and so forth.

I have a Bass Pro (White River) 3wt, that is absolutely amazing...was my "go to" before I dropped down to the 2wt. I have some heavy rods too, 6wt and 9wt, those have their place also, but I rarely take them out.

Collected a number of Winston rods over the years from 2wt to 5wt as well as Scott and Sage. IMHO Winston makes some of the best dry fly rods out there and my favorite Winston is a IM6 7.5' 3wt. Have a 7' 2wt which a greats small stream rod for Cutts in high mountain streams. If you can find an IM6 for sale I wouldn't hesitate buying it,

The 8 wt. is kinda necessary when you're into Brownies like this

No camera tricks on this one,
29.5" 10 1/2 lbs.
On 5x tippet with the aforementioned L Tech 8wt.

Huh? Producer Behind Comedy Shows ‘Arrested Development,’ ‘Silicon Valley’ Warns: Short Jokes ‘Can Be Antisemitic’

Since I have no idea where else to put this, I’ll just drop it here.

But my takeaway is that somehow folks on Snipers Hide really must be against Jewish people? I had no idea so many closet anti-semites were outing themselves with non stop short jokes…

You men have it all over me. I grab the lightest fly rod, the line they recommend, tie a five or six foot bit of 4lb test at the end, throw on a popping bug and catch as many bream as will hit the fly and hang on. Did take a 3lb 13 oz bass on an ultra light spinning rod with 6 pound test. It was a battle

I'd give him a C+ on weapons volume, but an F- on round count. That's 250 rounds per weapon.
Technically, you dont know.
It just says “over 10,000”.

Could be 250k and he just plays he cards close to his vest.

Personally, I have 1 box of ammo for each of the 3 guns I own.
No need for HP or anything. Thats just dangerous!

Some of my ammo boxes...and some water.

Ammo boxes or boxes of ammo?
You do realize there is a difference, right?

Well, if you want to be technical...

Those are M548, M2A1 and M19A1 containers, not boxes. About half are filled with ammo, a couple are empty and the rest hold brass or bullets. The remaining 50-60 percent of my stash is stored in alternate locations. Dispersal, ya know.
