Felt a little achy and low grade temp yesterday. Tested positive on home kit. We are doing the FLCCC protocol for her. So far she is doing well. Breathing fine, still able to smell and taste. Just a little tired with an intermittent cough. Been on two 1.5 mile walks today with her in the cool Tennessee air. She’s 45 and thin, otherwise healthy so I expect she will do fine but still a little nerve racking. I’ll keep y’all updated. Prayers appreciated.

Wife is a couple years older and also in TN, had it several months ago. Flu like symptoms, and lost sense of smell/taste for a while. Flu symptoms lasted a few days, smell/taste took about a month to come back completely.

I personally know two who died from rona, but both had serious pre-existing conditions.

Prayers going up anyway.

Good luck brother. It was tough watching my wife and young daughter have breathing issues but they got through it.

Sounds like everything is okay thus far. Take care and prayers going toward your family.

My whole office got it and my wife knocked it out of the park in 4 days and taking homemade soup to the staff.
I suck though and am 10 days in. No worries about survival just getting back to work.
Get the antibodies!

We had all the symptoms just over a month ago, but tested negative. I had chills but never broke a fever. Lost my sense of smell and taste, sense of smell is still muted. I never had any congestion until I was feeling better. For my wife it started with congestion in her ears, and sinus. It took a few weeks to fully shake the funk off. All in all I would rate it about 3, if the worst flu I have ever had was a 7. Treated it with chicken soup, 7 up, and saltine crackers. I always take zinc lozenges when I start getting sick.

If you can't get Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine, have her (and you) start taking Quercetin (avoid if pre-existing kidney problems), zinc, NAC, vitamin C, D3, aspirin and a good multivitamin every day. The wife buys all of that online at Swanson's. I've been doing it for 9 months, have been around multiple CV19 positive people and no problems.

Best of luck, wishing her a speedy recovery :)

Good luck with the recovery. My wife had it back in the spring, but did ok with it. Sort of like a bad cold, only lasted a few days. Y’all take it easy and try to enjoy the time off from work. We sure did.

I don't know if that actually helps, but I have been doing this for years. The quercetin I take is mixed with bromelain. I take ZMA instead of just zinc. I just don't take the aspirin every day.

Hmmm, thanks @Threadcutter. I didn't realize the quercetin was hard on kidneys. Since Dad had kidney disease I'm on the watch list.

Above advise is good.
Lots of fluids. When she thinks she’s had enough fluids, drink some more. Seriously

Prayer's sent as well as to all the tornado victims.

Keep an eye on her. Had an old girlfriend with it and she felt really bad one afternoon. Said she would go to the doctor the next day. She died at home that evening.

Our family just went through this shindig. The wife (early 40s) got sick with what at seemed like a sinus infection the weekend after Thanksgiving, and then seemed to progress to bronchitis. She went in, got diagnosed as suspected, received a prescription for some antibiotics, and got told to not fill the 'script until her Covid test results came back. She popped hot which came as a bit of a surprise, and was told instead to go fill a prescription for an Albuterol inhaler (which is pretty good shit when it comes to opening airways for short duration).

The kids (grade school) and I (mid-40s) went in for testing the next day. Both boys immediately popped positive on the antigen rapid test; I tested negative 🤨 PCR test results came back a few days later and all three of us were positive. At no time did the three of us have any symptoms beyond my oldest boy's usual allergies (so maybe his sniffles were actually Covid, but they were indistinguishable from literally every other day of his recent life). No fevers, no fatigue, nothing of the sort; they had 100% of their normal energy, and I continued my daily workouts at home. They got 10 days off from school per the health department. I was never officially quarantined, but with a sick wife and two very energetic kids at home, it's not like I was going anywhere fun.

My wife's progression was not as simple. On Day 6 (assuming that we know the actual date of onset; it's just a guess) she got monoclonal antibody treatment due to worsening symptoms, and Days 7 & 8 were pretty good - she still had fatigue and a cough, but much improved. Days 9 & 10 were rougher as she regressed - the cough got much worse, and her energy sank. On Day 11 she went back due to a suspected secondary infection; the doctor yelled at her for waiting too long to return, and then more or less admitted there's not much that they can do for what was determined to be "Covid bronchitis" She ended up getting a prescription for some sort of cough suppressant and for Flovent (a longer-acting inhaler) - these medications seemed quite beneficial (particularly in helping her get a full night's rest). We're now at Day 16; she's back to light daily activity and is tapering off the medication, but certainly isn't yet in any sort of condition for serious physical work or rigorous exercise.

So, in summary - one person fairly sick for over two weeks, three people completely asymptomatic 🤷‍♂️ Did our part to flatten the curve (right up against the Y-axis).

I did the FLCCC protocol a few weeks ago. Didn't get tested but my symptoms indicated covid.

Initially I was just really cold and tired. Slept a ton, didn't eat much. That lasted two days. On day one of me realizing that I was sick, I started the quercetin, ivermectin (paste), zinc, vitamin D, vitamin C... and some black seed syrup. I dunno someone recommended it so I'm like I'll give it a shot. Took that stuff for about 3 days. Then it went to slight cough and anything other than juice and gatorade tasted gross and metallic. That lasted about a week. It was kind of nice because I probably lost ten pounds. Beer not tasting good for a few days was a blessing in disguise.

Good luck! I just got off quarantine for it too, I did the supplements @Threadcutter308 mentioned above. Not sure if it helped or I was just a mild case but I had a fever for a few days, cough off and on and sinus congestion. Felt ok for the most part, lost taste/smell about 5 days in. GF only lost taste/smell and had a scratchy throat for maybe a day. I still have a lingering cough and sinus congestion but all in all, I’ve had worse ailments in the past. I didn’t know about the kidney thing tho, I’ll have to pass that info along when I recommend quercitin from now on! Luckily I don’t have a kidney condition that I’m aware of…
I will say have a full stomach when you take them, I had nausea if I took them on empty or anything other than after a full meal!

Had it twice. First time a little fever, cough, headache, loss of smell and taste. Other wise not bad. Second time, no symptoms, ran 2 to 3 miles a day. Hope everyone gets better, most do.

Just got word that my good friend is going home today after a 44-day visit to the local sickcare provider. He's 49, and was in good health until mid-October (active, not overweight, no other co-morbidities). He picked up the bug, worked from home and slowly got a little worse each day until his boss dragged him to the hospital because his text messages no longer made sense (hypoxia will do that), and then it was a month in the ICU and two weeks doing in-patient rehab learning how to walk again.

Not sure what his long-term prognosis looks like, but he's not dead or a vegetable so there is a lot going for him at the moment. He's also got a history of overcoming life's obstacles and so he'll make the best of this opportunity.

I got symptoms on Wednesday. My issue has been managing my fever. Sometimes it runs away and ends up at 105, then I’m forced to put myself in a ice bath. Other than that slight cough and congestion.

It's my understanding that Quercetin at 1gram or greater (particularly IV administered) doe is what is hard on the kidneys.

I have been sick with it for the last two weeks. First week was virtually asymptomatic. Second week I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I ended up getting pneumonia from it and it’s been rough. I was prescribed a z pack and an advair inhaler. It seems to have helped, but forward progress is slow. The speed it went from nothing to sicker than hell was astounding. For reference, I am 45, 6’0, 195. I work out 4-5 days a week and have no underlying health conditions. I have been taking 10,000 ius of d3 and 8000mg of vitamin c. I picked up
Some quercetin today. This thing is indiscriminate and I certainly wouldn’t use whether or not you are hospitalized as a barometer of success. My O2 levels got pretty low a few days and it was nip
And tuck on going to the ER. I am praying that I am on the mend, don’t want to keep this dragging on.

My most sincere prayers for your wife, my wife breezed right through it. Hope it goes the same for yours. Take care and god bless

Thanks to everybody for the prayers and well wishes. She’s still doing well, status quo today, maybe a little better. I’ll feel good if she makes it last day 8 with no rebound.
