I finally got to handle one of these hunting scopes.. I was extremely impressed with the build quality and glass . I would say it’s a tick better optically than the VX-5HD scopes I’ve been using .

One thing that would be a deal breaker for me….. it has a very robust exposed elevation turret but I couldn’t tell if there was any sort of zero stop / zero lock.

Does anyone know if the turret can be locked or stopped at zero?

I want to put this on a Bergara premier .223 that will get carried a lot for close range deer and varmint hunting. I don’t want the turret to be exposed and be shifted off zero in my scabbard pack or while slung and moving through brush .

Thanks

I never checked if my amplus has a zero stop. But wow, its on a budget rifle iput together for my daughters. I found myself grabbing that set up all last summer. Even my wife agrees it was our favorite gun to shoot this summer.

its on a bergara b14.

for refrence i also have a noveske apache with nf atacr, seekins havak ph1 with s&b zenith and a savage with s&b klassic.

I‘ve got a 2.5-15x50 I put on a 6.5CM Fix that I used for hunting. Fantastic glass that really shines at dawn/dusk. The center dot is crisp and as bright as you need.
