Fun meme, but it's the reason I put in the ear plugs I use for flights as soon as I get thru security. Makes for a much more pleasant experience.

Have to use them when I go into a store during hallmark holiday season as well.
Noise canceling headphones and I always get there way too early and and sit by a power plug, I found by bring a 6 plug power strip people don’t fuck with me in older terminals when there aren’t enough.

Looks stupid till they realize I’m being nice, fuckers still won’t just use it they’ll be walking around looking for a plug “ got 5 more here for a reason dummy”. I have a 10ft power cord for a reason, didn’t bring the 2 footer so I can reach when I’m sitting 14” away.

Yeah, one of the best investments I've ever made has been my noise canceling headphones. They really cut down on jet lag/being wiped out, particularly from long flights.

I need some of thems for then there's the proverbial "crying child" no more than 2 rows away from me on EVERY INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT I'm on. I swear Big Aviation is conspiring to keep me awake.

Hate to burst your bubble, but if you think you're getting "special treatment" in regard to the crying child, you're not........:rolleyes:

Unfortunately, noise canceling headphones have very little positive effect against the fat person with hot farts sitting right next to you.....:cry:

i always get set by the loud fuckers.

I don’t know why I’m always nice at the airport/planes I don’t like people. I’ll even sit my iPad up and turn on subtitles so the people by me can watch. Had a guy do that and get my attention out of nowhere one day on a flight and I feel the need to pay it forward I guess.

Traveling is stressful enough without people being assholes on top of it. That’s the one place I’ll talk to random people if they seem sane.

I wear noise-cancelling headphones in addition to the earplugs on the flight. Over 20 years flying with at least 6 different headphones including models from Bose and Sony. They're all about the same, and you still get a lot of noise without earplugs.

I like my "cone of silence".. :D

Got a link for this blade you guys are referring to?
This is the one you want. I have pretty much every knife benchmade makes and this is far and away my favorite fixed blade.

This is the one he was talking about. It’s great but the steep country is awesome.

I have a meatcrafter too but I don’t really care for it. I have a 7” kershaw fillet knife that I use for all the detail work on everything from butchering rabbits, ducks, pheasant to fine boning on larger stuff. Between the steep country and my fillet knife I’m all set. I thought I’d love the meatcrafter as much as I use my fillet knife but it’s just not flexible enough.

Absolutely. And if it all goes to hell and you're forced to pull your concealed firearm and start blastin' away, you already got 2 layers of protection. So you'll have that goin' for ya.
