WTB Wanted: SureFire FA762-SS Suppressor

Wanting To Buy
I am also looking for a FA762SS can for my original XM3 I got from the CMP. I'd pay good money for a Gen 1 or Gen 2 if anyone has one. Can't use any other can

I also emailed Surefire and got the same response about them no longer making them. Any other help would be awesome!

We made the RSTA, which is a .780 ID mount, over the barrel can with the same Ops Inc length over the barrel as the Surefire (I'm not super familiar with the Ops line, but I think 30 caliber 12th model length is what it is). Our and the Surefire revision was to go to .780" ID, to accommodate factory Armalite Ar-10 barrels (that was why we did that anyway). We are in the process of making a new generation product for a military product lineup. I was looking for the original product to make the spec build complete and accurate. The M40A5 is a PWS built rifle, a really nice rifle, and I was looking to make it correctly put together.

I called both Clyde and Ranch and Home. Neither had it in stock. Thanks anyways for the leads. Still looking.

I was just at ranch and home 2-3 weeks ago and it was still on the shelf.... it's been sitting there all 4 years I've lived in the area. I'll swing by when I get back to WA after holidays and double check.

When I asked the guy at Ranch and Home, he seemed to be feeling like I was one of the other people who had already called, and he said, yeah it's still not here, just like the other time I was called about it. I think I may have found one through an industry friend, I just have to wait till the person gets back from the holidays to see what they want for it.

I believe it was this guy. Call the number and see if its still available.
Hey everyone my name is William Langham the last 3 in the country were sold a while back. Several people have contacted me looking for one. I’ve since told everyone to contact surefire and try to get them to run up another line. 601-606-5667 is my number. I hope this helps everyone. Be safe

Ive seen them selling for over 2k not counting the stamp or transfer fees in the recent past. I paid $1900 three years ago for mine (bought new).

What one is worth now is whatever a buyer is willing to pay and seller is willing to sell at since there’s zero chance Surefire will make them again

Not to pile on, but if anyone has one laying around / not in use like that I’d take it. I luckily have one that I can swap between rifles, but would prefer a dedicated can for my xm-3.

It’s also plain stupid that Surefire decided to “decommission” the machinery; hell, at least upgrade it / program the new machines to spit these out. All of us with these cans are likely SOL if something needs to be repaired.

If anyone in this thread is still looking, I will have a new in box FA762SS (black) and new in box brake. The suppressor has been in my dealer’s safe for 7 months now and should be approved soon. I have since converted everything over to the SOCOM series. I’ll post in for sale on here as soon as it’s approved.

Dibs depending on price!

I have a lightly used FA762-SS and a brand new muzzle brake for it that I would be willing to sell. How much are these going for now that they are no longer manufactured? I paid $2k for it new.

Hey everyone. https://www.gunbroker.com/item/971935795 there is one on gunbroker for $4000 right now. Just wanted my SH brothers to get a chance to grab it before someone else. I dont know if y’all want to pay that much for it but I’m pretty sure I sold the last one in the country 2 years ago and haven’t seen one since. Good luck guys. Be safe out there. Semper fi.

Lol... I have a one in Dark Earth, 2x MB762SSAL/RE brakes, and one of the rarer MB556SSN-1/2-28 brakes. Sounds like I need to make a listing on Gunbroker :ROFLMAO:
