When you parkerize it, does that cover the small scratches? If not, you could polish it up better with some scotchbrite pads. IIRC the blue ones are the least abrasive. I've used them to polish a stainless Ruger Single Six back to factory new condition...bought it used, and it had some "wear marks".

Yeah, it’ll get blasted before the park. All those will go away. 👍🏻

Who doesn't like T&A and nice ladies.. but in any case it is not the only joy/desperation in the world. What else is there? For example that below. Got solid consistent hits on 30x60 and 50x100 cm steel out to 800 m, beyond that it was fifty-sixty at 900 (50x100 steel) and no hits at 1000 m (also 50x100). For 20 inch .308 Win rifle (I shot Lapua's 185 grain scenars) it was not too bad, though I do have to shoot more. Practice more.

Are you referring to the "Memphis, TN" Bass Pro Shop? I was actually visiting Memphis when it wasn't a Bass Pro Shop but the "Memphis Municipal Commerce Center" or something like that (a govt. building). I recall you weren't allowed in with a camera to take pics inside. A lot of the touristy attractions in Memphis were like that (MLK Memorial at the "Lorraine Motel", Graceland, etc.). Primarily because they wanted to sell you pics they already took. At the time, I stayed at the Peabody Hotel, right across the street from Charlie Vergos Rendevous restaurant. The most fantastic ribs ever!

Stayed at the Peabody during a conference in 2008. I remember the briefing we got about Memphis. That gave use maps with perimeter markings and said as long as we stayed within the perimeter we were safe. Step outside and you were on your own. Couldn't round a corner without seeing a cop. Spent a good bit of time on Beale Street.

The morning I left, we passed a Waffle House just outside the "wire" with crime scene tape everywhere. The driver said they had been a multiple homicide the night before that included a pregnant lady and her child.
