    6mm Dasher

I do the same. Regardless of the powder I use I always clean carbon from the chamber to the throat and 1-2 patch in the bore. That way carbon is never an issue.

PRS Talk PRS Gun Buggy/Cart/Stroller conversions.

Well I’ve see plenty in my latest match and I always found this gay as shit. Now some of the guys told me to put my gun on it since we had a long walk from stage 10 to 1 and let me use it . Long story short the terrain was rough and I had an harder time pushing that 60 lbs cart that hauling my...

    6PRC build opine?

Do a 6-284 win 😂. Some retards runned that in a PRS match lol . The best part is that they didn’t ended up in a better spot in the leaderboard 🤣.

New Winchester Staball 6.5 ball powder

That’s an interesting post. This weekend I was at a match and during sight in I was 30 fps faster than my proven Dasher load ( N150 at almost sea level) and temperatures where in the 90’s at 3000 ft ASL.. Saturday’s we’ve hit more than 94’s so I guess the speed must have increase again. That...

totally agree, I wish I would have the time to test a larger sample but I won’t be able to make it before Wednesday for my flight. Make a lot of sense but can’t make it back to the range before leaving . I need to load tomorrow.

Load decision. Smaller SD or smaller groups

Custom bolt action barrel not centered with stock

Why TF would they glass bed the recoil lug.. It’s ain’t a chassis issue. It’s either the barrel that off center or the glass shit they put.

    Carbon on shoulder Dasher

That’s what I’ll do and probably get another powder. Maybe 🤔. I’ll try some 4166 to see if it make any difference. I made sure with my reamer design to have a straight neck no taper. But yes your right that maybe I’d have an issue trying to get long life brass. It’s not my goal and I have like...

    Carbon on shoulder Dasher

    I’m running N150 because I can’t find anything like Varget where I’m at. I think I can find 4166 locally .

    Carbon on shoulder Dasher

Exact same load between new and sized and exact same speed too. I even tried a slightly higher charge but still the same results and it’s not as accurate .

Roger. With your Forster you don't have the same results than me or since you may anneal every time you don’t see that?

    Carbon on shoulder Dasher

I have a tricky question and I hope that someone experienced the same thing. So with my Dasher , firing virgin ALPHA brass , they come out pristine with little to no carbon on the necks.....but with once fired FL sized brass there is carbon on the shoulder and neck.... There is no difference...

    Best Canadian Gunsmiths?

Actually you need to use a CF barrel to be able to understand how they behave. - First their is an increased POI shift as heat increases. I see it in both my CF barrels. - Second carbon fibre composite material/assembly act as heat insulator and is roughly 10x less conductive than stainless...
