    B-14 Heavy Barreled Action

Yup. I had one of the original ones that were straight trash in a B14R I got it for. I wasn’t the only one that had issues with the older model L3I mags. Gave it away when I sold the B14R. I can’t speak for them in the rimx as the OEM mags work just fine. I use MKM extensions on mine. No issues...

    B-14 Heavy Barreled Action

Just spend the money on the OEM RimX mags. They work flawlessly and have zero chance of rim lock when loading. They are pricey but well worth it if you’re shooting one.

    Mount Recommendations

Area 419 has a Sent it level mount now. Just got a one piece from them. I like it. I also have a Spuhr and M-Brace. The Area 419 is my favorite of the 3.

    Curtis Custom parts question

Yeah sorry I can’t answer that but after looking at pictures of them, it appears to be the same. Again this is just based on visual inspection. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/gtr-rek

    Hornady factory 6GT ammo accuracy

Last year George Gardner per a FB post recommended people to use 0.059-0.062” firing pins. Primers were getting popped.

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

Sorry about my dry fingers but close up of the Eley I shot. No issues yet.

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

    Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

Curtis does for the Axiom, Valor, and Scout. DI cuts the tenon like a Vudoo instead of a cone breach.

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

Took my new DI Precision build out to function test with various lots of random ammo I had. Zero issues with normal round nose ammo. Everything fed, fired, and extracted as Birddog said it would. The only thing it did not like were feeding the flatter Eley style bullets. I gave up after a few...

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

You might need the optional adjustable mag catch if your chassis doesn't already have one. I just dropped the action in my KRG Bravo and there was way too much vertical play in the mag. Luckily I had one of KRG’s long mag catch handy and filed it down 2-3 hundredths to fit. I filed and fit as I...

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

I lucked out on my throw down XRS stock. The polymer Vudoo mags lock in pretty tight with little to no slop. I was concerned because it doesn’t have an adjustment mag catch.

On a side note, is there a bore guide for this that will clear the ejector?

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

Good to know. My RimX always extracted live rounds so I was in slight panic mode today. 😆

    Curtis Custom 22lr conversion

I picked up my Curtis today. Won’t have time to make it to the range today but the extractor did not want to extract Eley ammo. Mind you this is just hand cycling. I shot Chase an email so I’ll see what he says. Maybe it’ll be different when I actually fire a round. Works fine with everything else.

    Gas Port Size; 12.5” Mid-Length 100% Suppressed

I have a 12.5 mid length Rosco that gauged out to 0.078” on the port. I got a BRT tube for it for 100% suppressed using an A5H0 buffer. They sent me a 0.067” tube. It shoots soft af now.

    Rim X extractor?

Many moons ago when I first started using Eley I was having occasional light strikes. I reached out to Zermatt and they ended up sending me a new cocking piece that struck a little deeper. I’m guessing the “010” that is engraved on it meant that it struck 0.010” further. Just a guess.. Zero...

    Rim X extractor?

I had no idea there was a new Eley specific extractor. With that said I’ve shot bricks upon bricks of Eley with no issues on the regular extractor. Going into the 3rd season with my RimX.
