    I’ve read that on average, ADG has a bit less volume since it’s thicker, but the same velocities can be achieved with less powder than other cases with more volume. Have you any of you experienced this?

    Thanks for all the help! I went with a stainless PVA Osprey, 20”, .75” taperless, 5/8x24 threads, 7 spiral flutes, 300WSM, 1 in 9 twist. It should be around 2.5# and make a dandy rifle to cary in the mountains for elk.
