    Re: Which barrel contour for my Remington 700 30-06 Thanks for the input, I didn't think Id need the 30 inch seeing as the 308 can do it in a shorter barrel, but it never hurts to ask those that have done it before, its cheaper. Thanks for the input guys, and the load data.

    Re: Any minimalist or barefoot runners here? I can run faster barefoot than I can with shoes or boots, but I mainly sprint like that Ive never tried a distance run. Gonna have to one of these days.

    I'm re-barreling my Remington 700 SPS. I would like to go to 1000 yards with this gun and its currently a 30-06. Question is I was looking to put a factory varmint contour at 26 inches long, or a heavy palma contour at 30 inches. I would like to have some field mobility not just a bench gun...

    Re: throating If the throat is to big the barrel has to be set back, barrel removed and in essence you cut the chamber end shorter on a lathe. If its not big enough you can DIY with a proper reamer, but you can ruin the barrel if you do it wrong.

    Re: DIY things you have made This was my first knife. I made it in this, yes it use to be a kitchen sink. I also make these. Im working on a fancy Safari Mauser in 458 Win. mag but its not done yet, and I have no pics.
