    Short answer is no the camIng surfaces at the bolt handle are different not a drop in fit. That being said if you had the time and money you can make anything work. Older Sellers the differences were in the bolt handle. Might be able to put an older Stiller handle on a Remington bolt body.

    Yes the bottom metal can be too deep In the stock. The mag lips could be a little too tall. The mag catch could be a little too long. Could be a few things. Try a few different mags and see if they all act the same.

    Lots of ways to skin a cat that can get lost on translation. Outside dimensions of the barrel or where it points makes no difference to me it’s the bore that is important to me and how I dial indicate it in. The profile of the barrel could be square for all I care, the bore is where it’s at.
