    XM7 worries from the field.

    Talk about the new shiny hotness...I was a bass tournament fisherman for years, and still love the sport even though I haven't fished a tourney in 2 years. That's an expensive hobby. Price out a typical 20 to 21 ft bass boat loaded with all the necessities to be competitive.

    Who hunts with a 14-16lb rifle?

    To each their own, but I can't imagine covering any significant distances while hunting with a rifle that heavy. If that's all you got I guess, but I would seriously consider obtaining something lighter if possible.

    I once read an article whose author tested a lot of the various cantilever fixed mounts on the market for RTZ after taking off and reinstalling. He stated that the Burris AR PEPR mount had the best track record for him.

    I just bought a new Aero lower from a LGS last weekend. Already built it into a complete lower, no problems but even if they do stay in business they really need to do something with their non-existent customer service.

    SWFA SS fixed scopes discontinued?

    Admittedly, I don't check very often, but every time I do they are out of stock. I obviosly haven't backordered either. Seems like I rarely see them come up for sale used, and when they do they sell fast. I guess I should be a little more diligent or just backorder one.

    1-8 LVPO or 2-10 MVPO for ar15?

    I have an older Primary Arms SFP 1-8 and have rang steel on threat sized targets at 500 using 55 gr Hornady FMJ without any parallax adjustment.

    I've been trying to find one of their 3-9 HD scopes for years to put on a lightweight hunting rifle...rare as hens teeth. Wish they could actually keep them in stock.

    My PT&G mags are unmodified and work just fine with their DBM on my SPR.

    I hunted with a Leupold M8 4X scope for many years and killed lots of game with it atop a Winchester model 70 Featherweight in .30-06. I always found that the 4X was never on the wrong power or parrellex setting.

    Mine did too, but was not aware that it would accept AICS. I'll have to try that. Thanks for the info.
