    Thanks for the replies. I have two Vari-x IIIs 6.5x20x50 with M1 turrets and two Mk4 16x w/M1 turrets. I guess I will give them a call and see what answer I get.

    Anyone here know if the Leupold Custom Shop can convert M1 MOA turrets to Mil based M5 turrets ? The scopes that I have are Vari-x III 6.5x20 and 4.5 x14 with 30 mm tubes and M1 turrets. I do not see any reference to them doing this conversion on their web page.

    Multiple stacked paper thin spacers is the technique that Vortex uses. Works pretty well on their PST models.

    I use the little Possum Hollow versions of the same style. Great time savers, just have to trim after sizing since they are based off the shoulder and deburr the case mouth afterwards.

    I shoot a handloaded 120 gr SST out of a 18" Bison Armory AR at > 2400 fps. It groups under an inch at 100 yds. Plenty good enough for it's intended purpose of a whitetail rifle.

    issue with .223 full length resize

    What is your case length ? The .223 cases need to be trimmed to 1.750 after a few firings. They tend to stretch after being full length resized a few times. 1.760 is max case length.

    Still shooting with no more issues with mine since SA replaced the extractor. Also by replacing the rear sight with a higher one the pistol is now shooting to POA.

    On another note, I loaded the 3 not fully formed bullets and shot them into my steel plate at 100 yds. They grouped under an inch dead center, Just could not measure due to the lead splatter.

    I ordered 500 of the 168 gn. Grafs and they came in today. I loaded 120 to the same specs that I load 168 SMK and 168 AMAX. Out of those 120 I found 3 with not fully formed meplats. The open tip basically stopped where the lead core stopped. Looked like a large hollow point with lead all the way...
