    Looking for a Target 22

    If your budget is 400.00 try and find a 10/22 with a target barrel. I have a 10/22 tactical, 16" heavy bull barrel and man does it shoot well. One problem is they say not to shoot stingers in it. Great gun for under 400.00

    I have a set of Shun kitchen knives which are wonderful but are extremely high maintenance do to the degree of edge they have to be sharpened all the time. I have one Global and it's very good with less maintenance.

    As long as its not polygonal it's fine. Factory glock barrels build lead up as they shoot and can result in catastrophic failure. As can any polygonal barrel (God, I hope I am saying that right) traditional rifling is fine with lead.

    308 carbine reccomendation.

    We had a S&W with a full Ambi lower come through the shop a couple weeks ago, really reasonable on price. I wish I could remember the name of the model, I have to say it was pretty sweet. The Scar is amazing but really pricey.

    Eh, I wussed out. I'm going to put my Burris XTR 1-4 on it for now and see how it shoots, if I think it can do better with a higher end optic Ill pull the trigger on a vortex if not Ill stick with the XTR or go aimpoint.
