    Gunsmithing new barrel for Howa

Re: new barrel for Howa i have only shot 168 to 175, but i havent shot farther than 200 yards, yet. As far as a caliber change, i have thought about it but i keep going back to the fact that i have dies, and more dies, and brass and so on for the .308. I still may try the .260.

New Guy: Looking for Entry Level Tactical Sniper

Re: New Guy: Looking for Entry Level Tactical Snip After owning a Ruger M77, a remington 700 and two Winchester Model 70s, i dont find the Howa to be "low end". The first target is my howa right out of the box with an inexpensive burris scope and reloads built for a different gun. The rest...

Winchester brass + Lee Classic Loader = JUNK

Re: Winchester brass + Lee Classic Loader = JUNK I use two types of brass, winchester and Lapua. Winchester because i can buy it locally. Lapua because everyone says it is good stuff. The neck thickness of the winchester brass is thinner. Does it make a shit? Nope, not for me. Thats why there...

    does this look ok?

Re: does this look ok? TCA4570, you are correct. They are a tad thinner because i turned the necks on that batch of lapua brass for shits and giggles. And also because the bushing i needed was on back order. So i turned the necks to fit the bushing.
