    Pretty much. The only other scope that compares to the Mk6 in size/weight for the features available is the March 3-24x52, and they appear to have their own set of issues, aside from costing a fair bit more than the Mk6

    Interested to see if the Mk5 is better. Sample size, of course. Shame the 3-18x Mk5 isn't 100gms lighter and 34mm. Does Leupold have much of a social media or forums presence? Have they ever addressed the apparent QC issues with the Mk6? I'm not wildly stoked with having to send this back

    I bought a Mark 6 3-18x44 with the M5C2 turrets and TMR reticle. Here's a short overview of the features of the scope, and an admittedly, obviously, poorly designed and executed tracking test that nonetheless was rather illuminating.

    I have the M5C2 model with TMR coming, and paid what I think was a fair price considering the features, assuming the quality checks out. We'll see if I'm disappointed.

    3-15x44(or 50), 30mm tube, mil/mil low profile turrets, zero stop, side parallax, simple FFP mil-hash reticle of some kind (P4F esque ideally), 600gm, top level glass & mechanics
