    Has anyone found a way to send ejected brass to the rear more? I don't know if shortening the mechanical ejector somehow change the throw of the brass? Anywhere from 3-5 O'clock would be nice.

    So what was actually wrong with your gunsmiths work? From the way I read it, MCR used his reamer to touch up to give you a chamber your ammunition likes better?

    I think they still call them Spencer barrels even though they make them? Maybe that was just when they first bought them?

    I’m pretty sure they use Spencer barrels mainly. I think on the least expensive PMR they use an X-caliber or did at one time.

    Have you done anything to the primer pockets? Ran a hotter load before this?

    What do you mean by primer flow. The primers look normal to me. It does look like your pockets may be loose and you are leaking gas between the primer and primer pocket. How many firings on the brass?

    I hadn't thought about a fairly local gunsmith to me for a rimfire. Jon Beanland of Beanland Custom Rifles has a great reputation for centerfire rifles. He said he's barreled a few RimX so he has some experience with them. I will likely go this route as I can bring him the action and barrel once...

    Yeah, I would love a conversation kit for any of the three lug actions @karagias makes. I’d even be down for a complete new dedicated 22 LR action to compete with the Vudoos and RimX actions out there. What do you say Ted???

    Holy crap, you added 10 pounds of weight with a 1.25” barrel? That thing must be pushing 30 pounds! Was it that far out of balance to need all that weight? How did you secure the weights on the inside of the chassis?
