    Fished with Tenkara a bit, small streams with dries and nymphs are fun. Different technique to land a decent size (respectively) fish. Always seemed to revert back to my regular fly rods, I got longer swings with a couple mends vs the stick and line. For me it was a novelty or for the insane purist.

    Yeah too much lube, those dents will shoot out. I find new Norma brass to be a bit soft, probably why they dented and not the hornady. Had a buddy that loved the 300 h&h in pre64 70’s, good luck with the project.

    In my shotgun game days, loaded a shell with confetti instead of shot. Slipped it in a team mates shell pouch with him unaware, that was funny. Did it again with cigarette butts couple months later. The best one was a shell loaded up with black powder, still laugh remembering that one.

    Check the winds aloft forecast. It’s not often, but I have seen calm winds at altitude. Light, single digit, wind speeds under certain extremely stable atmospheric conditions would hold a contrail, seemingly, in place for awhile.
