    I have used a hot water weaker citric acid solution on suppressed brass for about 30-45 minutes with some success, but it seems to ‘etch’ the brass a bit. Be interesting to see how you get it done in 3.5 minutes without hitting the brass too hard.

    Have 20” Grendel and 20” +2 gas 6.5 CM that are both lasers. Have built 2 more of each for friends that extremely pleased with performance. These are all CF, though would expect same results from their SS barrels. Owen at Front Range Precision has been a great source for all.

    New to AR's magazine for 6.5 Grendel

    My mag collection is primarily ASC, and I just take new ones apart, smooth rough feed lips of any seeming burrs or flash from stamping process and also drop recess at front of mag to eliminate any contact during feed cycle. Function 100% when complete.

    Nothing specific regarding opening threshold, but they do suggest that x47 or CM velocity would render this a more varmint style bullet. TX deer season opens this weekend and stays open for a very long time, and should be able to have some data to offer in a month or two.

    Have 7 Grendels that stay in a pretty constant rotation, with 2 Satern cut rifled barrels-20/24”, 2 Wilson’s-20/22”, an 18” JP, a 20” Proof CF and a converted Bartlein from a 6.5x47 barrel. They all have their preferred loads, but the Proof, JP and Satern cut barrels are the easiest to load...
