    Something a little different

That's niiiice. For 20,000GBP I bet they'd take a photo if you asked -there is an enquiry tab on the page. Fortunately for me I shoot left handed, and that is a RH rifle. But for that (and a box of money) I'd be in.

    Something a little different

It's brand new - unfired. What will a photo show?

    Something a little different

$8,300 wouldn't be the tyre budget for a decent season of rallying - and this could be passed onto your grandchildren. You know you want it.

Where do they fit the arca rail?

I've put this up on the rimfire section also, but it will probably get more traction here. I was cruising Holts latest auction for a .451 Volunteer rifle when this somehow swung into view https://www.holtsauctioneers.com/asp/fullcatalogue.asp?salelot=A0724+++1205+&refno=++175231&saletype=...

    Something a little different

Here is a different way of spending the rimfire budget - not sure it would get you on the podium at a comp, but you would be the most elegant of the losers. https://www.holtsauctioneers.com/asp/fullcatalogue.asp?salelot=A0724+++1205+&refno=++175231&saletype=

Resume consultant needed - Chemical engineering

You're in the Bear pit buddy - although I'd have thought a chemical engineer would be all about getting letters'n'shit in the correct order.

78-79. Dad was in the NZ Army there - a reward for spending 68-69 in Vietnam

    Bear Pit Thread About Bears.

I went to the zoo in Singapore as a child, and one of the orangutans there used to twist a small car tyre into a figure 8 - I don't think fighting one would be much fun.

    .308 FTW

Could a .308 round even make it through a CRT screen? That's some heavy equipment, right there. I think I nearly had a hernia throwing out my last CRT screen...

    Dog breed poll

3 Shorthairs, and now an English Pointer. I'll have to see if I can find a photo of the first GSP. Edit. Yes, easier to find than I thought.

Maggie’s The Welding and Metalworking Thread

I was doing a vertical up test for a 4711 ticket when I started having trouble seeing - turned out I'd set fire to my (somewhat greasy) overalls, and my helmet was full of smoke. Put out fire, grabbed 2 new tokens, redid weld, passed.

    BSA Royal Featherlight

Probably THE classic NZ government culling book has a 243 BSA on the cover - they were the professionals rifle of choice through the 60's and well into the 70's, and are still popular on the 2nd hand market. Not something to build a 26" bull barrelled 300SAUM on, but for a light weight hunting...
