    I don’t anything but that’s the opposite of what I would have guessed. I wonder if you had a 26” barrel but the tightest point in the bore was at 24” would it be slower since you’d give up some pressure for the last couple inches?

    My buddy has the same barrel at like 25 and 3/4 because that’s what it slugged at. It shoots Eley at 1100 and lapua at like 1070.

Being able to shoot a stage from 50 to 300 yards on 10-12 power while seeing bullets/impacts, never touching the parallax or going above a full revolution on the elevation turret is nice.     I get the very fast first round with Eley once the weather is anything other than summer if my rifle sits about an hour. Other than that it out performs any lapua I’ve tried in the last couple years especially at distance so I just tolerate it and hold .2 low on the first shot 🤣

    I use the Dewey cotton rolls and felt pad. It’s pretty snug getting the felt in there but works fine.
