    Bought it a while back and never got around to using it. Don’t have any pictures but it’s a barrel blank in a box. It’s a 1:16 twist m24 contour.

    That was the same thing lapua told me when I sent my 1:9 in. My 1:16 always outshot my 1:9 at every distance and I eventually gave up on it.

    I have no clue on the Hunter style match but most rimfire matches are 1-2 moa inside of 100 yards and scale up a little as you go further out. 300 yard targets are usually pretty damn generous at least in length.

    If it’s a Hunter style match, isn’t that a high round count? How long are the stages to find, range, and engage 10 targets?

    I’ve been shooting Eley this year. My experience initially was like yours but it shot so well I continued. Switching the firing pin spring has got me down to 1 or 2 failures per 100 rounds.

    22” Bartlein MTU threaded. Only thing I’d do different is special order a heavier contour from the start.

    I read all the same hype but my experience was not the same. It was a 360 with a 1:9 24” non threaded Bartlein chambered by Vudoo shooting lot tested lapua so I gave it an honest try.

    In short when I sent it to the lapua test center they recommended I contact Vudoo based on how bad it shot. I bought some ammo anyway and my real word groups were better than theirs but it was just consistently inconsistent. It would seem like it was going to shoot then throw a shot or two way...

    I had a 1:9 bartlein put on a 360 when the 360’s first came out. Put a ton of time and rounds through it. Eventually had it rebarreled with a 1:16 Krieger. Expensive experiment.

    That’s what I have sitting. Just have to stop shooting long enough to have it spun on. Should be able to end up with a balanced rifle that’s lighter overall.
