    Hrrrmm..... There were some 300WM 24s. Both "unofficial" and some T&E pieces. Yours looks an awful lot like it was one of these. Barrel length and muzzle device look right

    As was said above- the inside edge needs laid back. This was done by hand at Rem prior to glass beading and parkerizing. The relief was filed down to the mounting holes.
