    700 Long action just sitting around :'(

    Also look up the great .30-06 debate. USSR, MontanaMarine, and a few other talk about the -06. And some shoot a short barreled 06. I have a few long actions in .30-06 and contemplating on maybe changing one. But can't go wrong with the 06.

    My friend showed me and he uses a nylon strap with a knob on it. I bought a few myself. I paid $20 for 2. They come in a package of 2. Better than paying $60 for 1.

    I feel that you can build a relatively good rifle on a budget. I did quite a few this past year. They all shoot excellent.

    I have a SS 1-6 sitting in a box. I've looked through it but have nothing similar compare it to. I haven't mounted it yet. It is a nice piece, I had an old aim point and ACOG before. Your welcome to look through mine. I'm in corpus.
