AR-10 style lower that takes Pre-Ban mags

I know Armlite AR-10s will take modified M14 mags. Will other lowers take pre-ban mags? Ideally I would like to get a GAP-10 in 260 and have it accept pre-ban mags (as I'm stuck in a Mass-hole ban state.) Or should I just go with a M1A? What would I be the trade offs in terms of function...

Re: Bedding AR10 / LR308 actions I really don't think it going overboard. If you want to get the highest accuracy out of an AR, I think every little bit will help. But if you're after "Ultimate" accuracy, I think you need to ask yourself, "Is an AR platform the best system for 'Ultimate'...

    SOLVED: Cycling Issue with AR

Re: Cycling Issue with AR I almost don't want to break up this tread, I'm getting a lot of good info on this topic. But good news... Changing out the H3 buffer for a standard buffer worked. Not to mention adding some M-Pro 7 Gun Oil to the right spots. Just popped out 120 rounds of M855...

I've tried Federal 62gr Mil-surp, Rem UMC, handloads. Am I doing something wrong? ie. not lubing correctly/enough Is the ammo...
