    Do you read your own post. As of now few people know if the scope is good or junk. But Burris has a good name and until they screw that up, I well look at their products. Not some one going on and on about Philippines. Give us a break.

    Boy I'm lucky, I shot at 1,000 yards and held under MOA and one mile and held 1 1/2 MOA. I think I did real good with a Burris 6x24 XTR JUNK!

    Thank you. Yes, my better half and myself are very proud of the man he turn out to be. Now he is out shooting the old man at the real long range. It don't get any better then that.

    He is 39 and I'm a old fart. I been a shooter most of my life and he has been shooting most of his life. He out shot me yesterday.

    The gun was Savage 300 Win Mag, target rifle from about 1995. He used a 208 grain A-max, through a 26'' barrel. I think the scope was a Sightron SIII SS 10-50x60 Side Focus Long Range Riflescope. He also had a 20MOA mount. It was in the high 60's to low 70's. The wind was from 3.5 up to 6.9 mph.

    My Sons First 1 mile target shoot. He hit the X-Ring Once... It's 17.600 Out of 13 shots he hit the target 5 times. I also hit the target on the second high power shoot. He used my weapon, for that. The target size is 44'' by 48'' The trouble is I only hit it 4 times. But it was a very good...

    As I recall, it was 45'' by 48 '' with a 17.600 red bulls-eye.

    As of now I'm happy, with 200 SMK's and I like 208 A-max. Berger are great bullets, but go deeper into my pockets then I like.

    Man did say long range. For me long range is 700 yards and out to or beyond 1,000 yards. Then you should have a long barrel.

    My FPS are what I stated from a 26'' barrel, from both rifles.
