    Night Vision Buying a Thermal-AGM???

I have a few questions because I’ve never owned a thermal before. First, I’m looking to spend $2-4k on a scope. Would like to keep it in the 3k range if possible. I like the idea of the rangefinder on the AGM Varmint 50-384. But I could buy a 35-640 Rattler without the rangefinder for not much...

WTB SAVAGE OR OTHER ECONOMICAL RIFLE

I am looking for a 6.5 creedmoor rifle or the like for my uncle. He likes a savage or ruger american. A heavy barrel is a plus for him. He will also consider a decent rifle/scope package. It must be a fair price and, honestly, he is just looking for a good and reasonably priced white tail rifle...

Hunting & Fishing 24" or 26" 300wm barrel for elk hunting

I am new to the sport of hunting elk, but I understand that alot of hiking will be involved. I am not sure of the areas or terrain that I will one day be hunting. I would like to know the length of barrel that would be best for most elk terrains. Keep in mind that weight difference would be...

    Maggie’s Nice gash!

Not sure where to put this, but I shit you not, this is what I seen just minutes ago on my way home from a fireworks show. We were driving behind a ford ranger with two young adults on the toolbox holding each other. The somewhat thicker lady had her legs spread apart and seemed unaware that the...

CIP length mags with short cartridges

Maybe this would go well here. I've tried other sections with no response. I know that one can run a short action cartridge in a long action rifle, however I want to build a 28 nosler to run the 195 bergers at extended lengths. Bighorn has agreed to open my action up in order to accommodate a...

Bighorn has agreed to open my action up in order to accommodate a cip length dbm. I didn't until just now think that it may effect future use...

    Gunsmithing Bugnut on Bighorn

I was just wondering if a bugnut system would be a good thing for a switchbarrel Bighorn TL3? And I believe that the bugnut uses 2 sizes of barrel, 1.2 and 1.25" if I remember correctly. Which one would I need? I prefer a Proof CF sendero.

Is it necessary to have a small firing pin for the 6.5x47L? If not, what the advantages of using the small firing pin over the normal one? Thanks and excuse my ignorance.
