Hey, just got an Anschutz 54.18 repeater barreled action and am looking for a scope mount set-up. I know it has the dovetail on the receiver, but I seem to recall reading that mounting rings in threaded holes worked better. Any advice would be appreciated!

Is there any reason to use precision shims if I am not timing the muzzle device/suppressor mount? Or can I ust torque it up to the barrel shoulder? Thanks!

I know suppressed barrels were made for the AW. Mark White/Sound Tech made a version I saw in person. Does anyone make a similar integrally suppressed barrel for the AT? I don't know enough about the differences between the 2 rifles to know if something in the design of the AT prevents this.
