I had some loads for my 6.5x47 Lapua that I had developed in Colorado where the humidity is relatively low and stable. I moved out to Virginia and was checking loads prior to a match and noted that my muzzle velocities were low by as much as 160 fps. The loads were still very accurate but had...
I just received my new Sartorius AY123 today. This was a deal at $259.00 shipped to my door via UPS Ground. I placed the order online and it shipped the same day. Here's the link: http://balance.balances.com/scales/1955/ . I just put some rounds together and I'm anxious to see if the added level...
I'm shooting a 6.5x47L and after reading the 6.5x47L Accuracy thread thought I'd try the 130 grain Berger VLD's again with Varget. I did initial testing a couple of weeks ago and had what I thought was good results. The load I settled on was 37.5 grains of Varget, CCI BR4 primers and jumping the...
Went to the range on Friday with some new loads built up. I’m shooting 6.5x47 Lapua and have been looking at alternatives to RE15 for 123 Scenar’s. I put together some loads with IMR 8208XBR and while the overall results look quite promising, I have some numbers with shot groups that are not...

Picked up some ViperSkins from Mile High Shooting yesterday and coated them today. The skins are Coyote Tan and the accessory rails/screws are Graphite Black. As for the rest of the gun, it's a 6.5x47 Lapua with a GA Precision trued Remington 700 action, 24" Rock Creek SS 5R barrel, Jewell...
Took my daughter shooting for the first time on Tuesday. After I showed her and explained the basics it was all her show. Had the target set at 65 yards and she was shooting a Savage model 93 in .17 HMR. I think she did a great job and I was sure proud of her. She's ready to go do it again.
This is a Colt 1991A1 Compact refinished in Cerakote. Colors are Graphite Black and Desert Sand. This is two tone and I took as far as possible. Grips will soon be replaced with black.
This is the result of a custom build gone sour. After the gunsmith who I gave $2700.00 to last July for a custom build didn't have a single part in as of mid-May. I told the boy to get his checkbook out. I had a spare GA Precision Rock in .308 Win that I boxed up with parts and sent to John...
I have an extra .308 Winchester I'd like to get re-barreled and chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith that isn't backed up until next year?
This is a GAP Rock I camouflaged with Cerakote. Colors are OD Green, Flat Dark Earth, and Desert Sand. Left the bolt, bottom metal, and scope rail OD Green.
