I just got done shooting 6" groups with this ammo @ 100y. (I was using the .308 version) I never imagined that ammo could be this terrible; at 600y the shots were all over the 36" target I was shooting at. After panicking that something just had to be wrong with my rifle and nearly caving...
I'm trying to bed the ribbed forearm of my rifle with epoxy. Does anyone know how much clearance I'd need to guarantee no contact during recoil? Perhaps the specs on a McMillan stock?
I tried bedding for the first time and ended up with a guard screw stuck in it's pillar. It's a headless screw from Score-Hi and actually cracked at the head somehow. I was wondering if anyone knew of any compound that can dissolve Devcon once it's hardened.
