Looking at building a personal 100 yard range on some property. I was thinking of bringing in a front end loader to scrape down about 4-6 feet for the full 100 yards and use that dirt as a backing burm. Anyone have something like this they could help with advice?

Any hide members have one? Just picked one up in pretty darn good condition w/ 4 mags. Trigger pull is very smooth and light. I am very impressed with a 60+ year old rifle. I have always heard that these are tack drivers so I cant wait to shoot it.

I found some locally for $40 each. I know it's high but I also have not been able to find them anywhere else that has them and there is no limit. Is this a reasonable price given the current inflation?
