    Movie Theater Headhunters

Saw it on Netflix and was surprised how much I liked it. It was filmed in Norway by actors unknown to American viewers, which made the drama and violence more realistic. Less like watching celebrities acting, than a voyeuristic view of foreigners living their twisted lives. It's easy to get...

FGGM 175 out of OBR 16 inch

I'm planning to shoot Federal Gold Medal Match 175 BTHP commercial ammo out of my 16 inch OBR this weekend at a 700 yard range. Has anyone chrono'ed the muzzle velocity to save me some time calculating ballistics? Thanks. (I hear there are some Larue haters. I'd appreciate if you don't screw up...

    Movie Theater Severe Clear

Available on Netflix. Documentary shot with home video camera by Marine Lt. during 2003 Iraq invasion. I liked it much better than the dozen other modern combat documentaries; raw footage gives more visceral feeling, no depressing liberal message, and story strewn together with map commentary...

Movie Theater The Raid - Redemption

Just got back from movies by myself (quiet time from the family). Raw, gritty martial arts action in the genre of Ong Bak - but with more CGI gore. Check it out: The Raid - Redemption

Rifle Scopes Leupold 10x50 tac with TMR bino feedback

About to pick one up with the TMR reticle. Anyone have experience before I drop the coin? If you used it, please comment on: 1. Optics quality compared to other known brands. 2. Utility: Eye relief, field of view, etc. 3. Comparison to other tactical binos or monoculars. ie. Steiner 10x42...

Member Link Up Gatlinburg Sportsman's Club

Anyone in the area Labor Day weekend, I'll be putting a 1000 rounds down the tube at GSC. Shoot me a PM and we can hook up. It's a great outdoor club, with 6 ranges, and a fishing pond for kids. I highly recommend it.

    Suppressors Form 3

I finally figured out Form 4. Can someone explain how Form 3's work? Specifically, when someone has a Class 3 item to sell and has a "Form 3 waiting" - what is it? And what are the benefits compared to item for sale without that listed?

Suppressors Replacing uppers on registered SBR lowers

I finally received my Tax Stamp for my LWRC 6.8 PSD, which has an 8 inch barrel. If I buy another SBR upper for use on this lower, is there any additional paperwork that I need to file? What if it's a different caliber, ie. 556?

    Suppressors Tax Stamp

Finally got my SBR tax stamp, and picked up my new baby. I was planning to photocopy the application with valid tax stamp, and laminate it. This will be kept with the gun at all times. Would this photocopy suffice if LE ever asks for papers? The original is going in my gun safe. Thanks.

    Rifle Scopes Mount for Hensoldt

I ordered the Hendsoldt 4-16x56 NH-1 from Sport Optics, a supporter of this website. Don't like sugar, but heard this Kool-aid is delicious. Can anyone recommend a good mount for this scope on my LT OBR? (BTW, I have a 30mm LT QD mount, and have not experienced marring of metal) It'll...

    LWRC M6A1 5.56 16" scope suggestions?

My friend (ret. Marines 1991) has a LWRC M6A1 16" 5.56 rifle. Like a good student, he shot it for 3 months with BUIS and is very comfortable with it. Now, he is ready to shop for a nice scope and/or red dot. We use the local range - and usually shoot 100 yds, occasionally 200, and will...

Rifle Scopes Larue Tactical scope rings/mounts

After reading this forum, the Seekins, Badger, Nightforce et. al rings get high marks. Although the Larue Tactical mounts are great for red dots on AR15 style rifles, their scope rings/mounts do not get much play here. Does anyone have experience/opinions about their products for mounting high...

    Rifle Scopes SWFA Customer Service

Wanted to share this experience today. The SS 10x42 scope was on the Sample List so I ordered it online over the weekend. When I called this morning to throw some accessories into the order, the rep informed me that someone else beat me to it by a few seconds. Apparently, the website erred and...
