Dear Pat, The flagging that was @ the target area was wrapped around the post, and didn't have anything to do with my hit/ miss count. The only time I even looked at it was when Mike pointed it out. Dismissed it as irrelevant and moved on.

Pat, a pox on you for the wind flag recommendation, this isn't F class/ high power. If wind flags start showing up at tac matches, I'll go out of my way to cut them down and burn them.

I'm happy with a 1.3 miles of range. After all the 50 BMG offers more than dumb bullets. I like the option of a payload upon arrival, which the 50BMG has. The two you mentioned, just dumb bullets.

We can only shoot past 700 when we go through a process of getting a legal agreement with the property owners that allow very minimal use for our spring rifle match. It allows a short window for set up, practice, the match and clean up.
