Back in 2012 I was asking what would be a good scope for 600BR and most everyone told me to get the 8-32 SIII, well, I'd like to report over the past few years these scopes have served me very well and I appreciate the suggestions...
My wife started shooting 600BR with me in late August, so now this rifle needed a couple mods done to it, LOP adjusted for her shorter stature and a new cerakote job. The folks at LRI did a fine job I think.
I know some of you fellas are complaining about your Hornady 6 Creedmoor brass saying the primer pockets are loose after a couple firings, well today I seated some WLRs in my brass that has been fired 6 times and like the Tula primers they were not easy to seat, that being said, maybe it's a...
Tell me you can't do this and the other way around? Did a search and can't believe how many retards are out there, all you need is a different shellholder.
Found it in my Kennesaw catalog, ordered it from Amazon, about the best price I could find. Here's all the specs on it. It was designed for killing, but it will just sit on my coffee table as a conversation piece, more or less. Hisshou Knife | Military Tactical Fighting Knives | CRKT
Posted this in "Bolt action rifles" as well, just thought I'd share it here as well. Competing in our 3rd 600yd BR Comp of the year, my first group of the day produced this outstanding 1.74" group, then a few minutes later I shot this 3.374" group, 4 of those go 1.344", isn't that enough to...
Took my very first 6 Creedmoor Longrifles Inc. rifle(you know what it looks like) out and kicked some ass in 'B' class today, I think I kicked just about everyone else in A class as well, Bill Zaboroski shot a new range record with a 1.3ish group shooting a 6 Dasher and Terry Collins agged out...
My first mistake was not entering the agg part of the shoot, the 2nd was shooting the VLDs first(6.015" & 3.966" groups). Guess it really doesn't matter because I didn't enter the agg Comp of the shoot, if I had my score would be 3.671" overall, the 2 smallest groups were the DTACs. I was the...
Was a great day for shooting despite some twitchy lighter winds, sometimes you'd feel it coming from the SE, SW S, E but never from the north. For once most of my groups didn't have horizontal dispersion, that group with the VLD Targets does show some and probably cost me low group of the day...
Like most times I was shooting at 300yds, first 6 groups were the VLDs, not too impressed with those so far., then I shot the Hybrids, 1st group was a 3 shot group, and a 5 shot group that went 1.363"(not shown) and this pretty decent group. VLDs were seated just touching the lands to .020" off...
Ladies & Gents, After my 2nd session of shooting my newest LRI 6 Creed, I got to compare both of these powder with a higher charge of 42grs each. On my first outing I thought I was getting similar speeds with 41.6grs. but when I went back to my notes that wasn't the case so much. What I found...
Since it was nice and sunny today, It was the day to break in the new LRI 6 Creed. After going right over the target on the first shot, (forgot about the 20moa base), I boresighted it and got it pretty close at 100yds, once I made the adjustment so it would hit dead nuts or pretty darn close out...
Just thought I'd do a side by each pictorial/comparison of my Longrifles Inc 6 Creeds, going to try not to post too many pics, this might be the last time i post, so hope you like. If you have a fav, shout it out.
a Tikka Supervarmint in 260Rem, touting longer barrel life, more knockdown at longer range if he hunts with it and it seems to be pretty popular around these parts. Did I make a good suggestion?
My buddy Moe just bought 2 in 270Win, one camo for him, the other stainless/synthetic T3 Lite for his nephew. After mounting 2 scopes for him I'm thinking about getting one myself, like I really need one, can you guys/gals show me how yours shoot?
Noticed on a youtube vid that I could use 62mm camera filters on my new 10-50x60mm Sightron, so i ordered a set from Amazon, figured they will protect my objective plus filter out unwanted light. Who else uses these?
