    I have a P14 frame kit. Having trouble finding a smith that works on them, I need the slide fitted and barrel at a minimum. Not trying to build a race gun, just wanted one I could make fit me... Any suggestions? Thanks Dave

    So in my project to restock my old sporterised Springfield,,,, I'm free-floating the barrel like it was in the previous stock. It had about 3 sheets of paper clearance but while I'm ordering the stock I need to spec the diameter of the barrel channel, I was going to measure the chamber area...
