Hello y’all. I’ve got a Bergara premier pro on the way and it says it has 8-40 screws for the optics rail. Can I use any Remington compatible bases with 8-40? I’ve always used EGW’s on my Howa’s. Does EGW make one for the Bergara? Thanks in advance.

So say I have a brand A and brand B barrel. Both chambered and crowned by the same smith with the same tools. Same length. Same twist. What makes one more accurate than the other?

While installing a brand new krieger I just received I noticed the indexing pin was loose. I’ve installed a lot of AR barrels but never had one with a loose indexing pin. I know the smith will take care of it. But I guess I’m curious as to how most indexing pins are attached?
