Precision Rifle Gear OPS-CORE NFMI plugs only

Has anyone tried the plugs only under earmuffs? I'm not willing to spend 1k on their earmuffs. Currently using Comtac Vs with fomies underneath. Ears will still ring if plugs aren't touching my brain. I'm wondering if the ops core would be better.

Tangent 5-25 or new Schmidt 6-36

Which would you choose to shoot matches with? I know their 6-36 hasn't been released yet, so this is assuming the new 6-26 will have glass as good as their old 5-25. I haven't attended a match in a couple years. Are no dial stages still a thing? The Schmidt 6-36 only comes with the GR2ID AND...

Precision Rifle Gear Without warning muzzle brake test

What do you think about this? There's a section of the video where he's testing the brakes with video through the scope so you can see the effect each brake has on the recoil impulse. The shooter is kind of all over the place though. Reticle jumping right, left, sometimes straight up. It looks...

Precision Rifle Gear New AICS cheek piece - gauging interest

Would anyone be interested in a slimmer cheek piece for their AXSR chassis? The stock cheek piece is too wide for me and makes me roll my head over excessively, even with the cp adjusted all the way to one side. I'm sure some of you have experienced the same problem. If anyone is interested...

Precision Rifle Gear Will we ever seen an all steel chassis?

I think it'll happen someday when people feel the need to have 30+ pound rifles to be competitive. What's it going to take for the PRS,NRL, etc to make weight limits?

Sidearms & Scatterguns Anyone have an M17

Im hearing something about a "long trigger pull" being said about the M17. I've only handled the regular P320 and I can't say the trigger pull was very long. It felt good to me. Does the M17 have a different feeling trigger pull? Is the safety in about the same place as a 1911 safety would...

Gunsmithing Red loctite on nitride parts

I'm trying to red loctite a bolt knob onto a nitrided bolt handle. I cleaned both male and female threads with alcohol before applying the loctite. After waiting two days, I can still unscrew the bolt knob by hand. Does red loctite have problems curing on a nitrided piece of steel? I'm able...

Precision Rifle Gear Hawkins Tank ST brake - opinions?

Looking for some info on this brake. I like the way it torqued on and off, and how it stays in time. Does it reduce the blast to the shooter by a noticeable amount? I'm looking for something that's nearly as good at reducing recoil as an angled brake, but without so much blast.
