May AZ LRPRS monthly match

Match date Saturday 5/18 at Phoenix Rod and Gun club, start time will be 0700. This month we will throw in a few pistol stages so bring 30 rounds and a holster for carry, .22 is okay. If you need to borrow a pistol let me know. 50 rifle rounds for the match, distances 7-700 yards.

I've been shooting short range benchrest competitions for many years and I'm looking for a change of pace from shooting a 6PPC from a bench. I'm wondering if you folks would mind my showing up this Saturday to observe, ask dumb questions, and take a few photos.

Thanks Matt for letting an old benchrest shooter handout and learn. It was a fun experience and I've already contacted my gunsmith about getting a custom rifle project online - quickly. Until then, I'll be happy to rub shoulders with some excellent shooters and take a few photos…

Thanks to all, had a great time and learned I need a few more hours of sleep before I run the next match to be coherent.

Congrats to Randall 1st, Regina 2nd, and Dane 3rd. Tough competition with a 2 point different between 1st and 3rd.
