I'm looking at buying the Kowa 883 and can't find any one with the fixed long eye relief lens that I can look thru. Any one have experience with both lens? Reading mirage and finding holes in paper is what it will be used for.

I have both the 20X60 zoom and the LER 25X fixed. The longer eye relief of the fixed has resulted in the zoom staying in its box most of the time.
