I have an HS Precision stock and was thinking I might put my 40x in there. Can I open up my barrel channel just by sanding it? It there enough room to open it up to 1 1/4"?

I posted this question some time back in the gunsmithing section but no replies. I am curious what is the largest contour barrel that can be used on a TRG platform? Cheers

Hello all, Can someone let me know how wide the barrel channel is on a B&C Light Tac stock? Looks like it tapers in in the first couple of inches past the recoil lug and then straightens out... Asking because I currently have a Rock barrel blank that is 1.20" for 4", and then straight tapers...

How much clearance (minimum) should there be between the barrel and stock for a floated barrel?
