    Hunting & Fishing Better late than never!

    Had a lot of fun w/ my then new camera last season. Here's some pics I got on various sits in my blinds. The 2 deer were taken by co-hunters on my lease. It's in Starr Co. Texas. The one black buck(cull) was shot by me at a friends ranch. Just wanted to share. Enjoy.

    What optics for a Colt M16A1 carbine circa late 19

    I'm getting a Colt M16A1 full-auto carbine ( model 653 )in the 9.5 million serial number range.I'm guessing that it's late 1970's. It has the fixed carry handle with hole for attachments. Can anyone suggest a period appropriate optic, military style, for this rig?
