I need some load data for the 338 RUM. I was thinking of using the 250 lapuas or the 249 boar tec. Have not found load data I was impressed with. What speeds should I get out of a 32” barrel ?

i was thinking of building a 338 rum savage i was wondering what potential weak points i might have to worry about in modifying a savage long action for this purpose. this would be my first build of this type.

Is there any real advantage to the 338 Lapua over the 338 RUM? Velocities look similar. Is accuracy similar, as well? I concede that the brass on the Lapua might be better. What else?

i have a remington 300 rum police in an aics and am having mag probs. i cant find any mags that are for the ultra. took the ones i have to a gunsmith and he couldnt make it work. any ideas?

Getting a 300 RUM soon and would like to see what loads you guys have had the best results with.

Does anyone know if any 300 RUM action will work for a future 338 Edge rifle? For example, if I buy a SAKO or Winchester in 300 RUM, and rebarrel it, would it work for a 338 Edge? This seems like a viable option compared to a Lapua. Thanks.

Before I build this calibre I thought I would get some feedback from a good group of fellow shooters. Can anyone tell me some pros & cons. Is it fairly accurate? It will be used for long range shooting and hunting from 300 yds to 1000.Bullet weights from 210-250grs.
