Do any reputable manufacturers make a crushed tungsten filled rifle length buffer for the AR15? Something similar to Spikes Tactical tungsten carbine buffer but in rifle length? Been hunting around and haven't found much.

Just got it July 2,had it mounted on my rifle at a large (chain) gun dealer.They did not torque the rings,bent the tube with compression.It seems to operate OK,any way you guys know of to repair it.I AM SICK!I dont know if USO can replace the tube,gonna call tomorrow and see,and what charges...

Hiders, The question pretty much asks it all. I love the FAL platform but still haven't mastered the cleaning of the gas tube. Do you use a bore snake, rod and patch (give jag and patch size here) or some other way to clean the gas tube?? I could ask this question at the Fal Files but...

Shopping for a scope. Why should I choose one or the other (30mm or 1" tube) all else being equal? Will my sight picture be larger using a 30mm tube?

I understand that M1 knobs can be installed on a standard Leupold 1 inch tube scope. I do prefer M1 knobs over the regular target turrets, but I'm not sure how aesthetically pleasing this would be? Does anyone have a photograph of such a modified scope? Thanks, TK

I've been meaning to ask for awhile.......My ACOG's fiber optic tube has little air bubbles and small "cracks" or striations that run accross the top surface of the tube. Is this normal?
