Sure would like some more info. I got nuthin to armchair quarterback with. I can’t even form a one sided opinion with this..

I pray for healing with the officer and sincerely hope I don’t see a bunch of armed guys with no visible identifiers but obviously gov stopping and detaining people in their understandable zeal to catch this guy. Let’s bring him in live if at all possible.

We don't need the death penalty, they said.

We will execute too many innocent people, they said.

ITs not humane to kill people, they said.

Life in prison is worse punishment, they said.

If that is true, why do they always sing to get ☠ off the table.

    Thats exactly why.

As much as I hate to pay the bill to house and feed the trash that does this stuff, if you were charged and about to be put to death for a crime you didnt commit, you'd change your tune.

And its not a fable that we do execute innocent people,

If I was put to death i would change my tune. :ROFLMAO:  Sorry, that is poorly worded, but I know what you mean.

Its not a fable, but its also very small portion.

Executing innocent people is a symptom of a problem somewhere else. Taking it off the table for everyone, because questionable prosecutors get questionable convictions, with questionable evidence, sometimes is not a good solution for the problem of executing innocent people. And not a good reason to be against the death penalty. Honestly it seems kin to saying we should abolish the police because they arrest the wrong person sometimes. Or shoot someone they shouldn't have sometimes.

If you go back and re read my post you'll see that I actually said "If you were ABOUT to be put to death"

Somewhat apples and oranges with the MAJOR diffeernce that if wrongly arrested you can always free the person. Once youve taken a life there is no giving it back. As to the shooting, thats often done in the heat of a moment where the DP is a long considered situation.

Not apples to oranges what so ever. It is removing a very useful and under utilized tool of our penal system because of what happens a very small minority off the time. There are thousands of rapist, child molesters, and murderes in our prisons that need executed, that aren't even on death row. It makes zero sense to remove the death penalty because you might execute someone who is innocent. You have to address the root of the problem. The root of the problem of false convictions is not the death penalty.

Wrong. Its been clearly proven that the death penalty is no deterrent to crime....though it may prevent repeat offenders, LOL.

Ill just go back to my original statement which you so carelessly missed and refused to address wen called on it.

"If YOU were about to be put to death for a crime you didnt commit you'd be squealing like a hog about to be cut."

my sources said they served a pfa on him, 2 hrs latter he violated it and was arrested, placed in car handcuffed after a search of his car they found a handgun. he then started kicking out the windows of the police car when they opened the door he had anther handgun they missed during pat down the rest is history. sad people are now posting they hope he shoots more cops and people should help him.

    So he's worm food? Hopefully.

While Im against the death penalty I have no qualms with wasting him if he pulled a gun.

Reading some updates now too. He beat his baby's momma and his young son. Got a restraining order because he threatened to shoot them. Also got previous raps for robbery and assault... Yep, rocket scientist/cancer researcher...

so true. i am not aware of any prosecutors convicted of attempted murder or anything else as a result of a faulty or corrupt conviction.
