Started going to a range and shooting off the bench. I feel like I would benefit from a 0 degree grip to help with my consistency and so on. Does anyone know who makes one? Anyone have experience with them? How do they work for you, and do you like them?

    Thanks fellas.

I have tried a bunch of grips. Ended up with the mdt elite grip. It’s adjustable in grip angle as well as forward and back. https://mdttac.com/mdt-vertical-grip-elite/

My second favorite is the penguin https://www.anarchyoutdoors.com/penguin-precision-rifle-grip/

Least favorite was the ergo https://xlrindustries.com/products/ergo-vertical-grip didn’t move my hand back far enough.

I have found running a 45 ambi safety works well for me to act as a thumb shelf. My current favorite is the Odin works https://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Odin-Works-AR-15-Ambidextrous-Modular-Safety-p/odin-acc-ams.htm

Obviously haven't used any of these, but I'd say the ergo would also be my least favorite. That MDT elite looks like the one I want. Looks beefy. Kind of want to replicate my keg bravo stock that has a rather large palm swell.

Here is a picture of my rifle and how i use the safety as a thumb shelf.

For reference I wear a xl or xxl glove so might not work great for small hands.

I run a krg bravo on my comp rifle as well. Similar “thickness” but different feel.

How thick is the strike industries grip? Looks interesting.

I checked out mdt. I like the thickness of the elite, but the premier has the thumbshelf. Now I'm at a cross roads. Haha

I have tried the mdt premier on one of their chassis and personally didn’t like it. It was too thin and small for me.

I’ve got one without the thumb shelf on my big gasser and the MDT on my smaller one, I’m inclined to agree. Can’t get a beaver tail AND a thumb self though it seems.

I've used (work and competition) some dozen SR-25 rifles and another dozen AR-15 rifle and never felt like I needed a completely vertical grip.

Think I'm going to try the MKmaching grip. Thanks for the suggestions all.

    Another vote for MK…

My friend has the MKM with thumb shelf. It’s very nice but for me it’s very thin side to side and doesn’t move my hand back far enough. My friend has small hands and likes it better than my mdt. I think it will depend on hand size as to which one works best. Both are nice.

To be clear I haven’t shot with the MKM just played with it at his house for a few minutes.
