I have a rifle in for load development. Built by Alamo Precison on a Rem 700 action. I pulled the pin out and caliper measurement is .072" diameter. I have done well with firing pins with a .068" diameter, and a SRP.

It is chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, and I would like to order SRP brass for it, if it will work.

Standard firing pin in a gas gun is around .080" I believe. JP has a high pressure firing pin that is .068" as you stated. At .072 you may be ok?
