Having a Trijicon TR24 with 1x4 I am familiar with a true 1x.
What are the major drawbacks of scopes with 1.1x or 1.5x on the low side?
Are there any situations that one could not live with or use that the 1x provides?
Really just want to know if it is a big deal or not.
thanks

Re: 1.0 vs 1.1 vs 1.5

Anything other than 1X is slow in-close without tons of practice and some jedi mind shit.

If you want more magnification and still want fast, mount an Aimpoint t-1 (or micro dot) offset in addition to your main optic.
